Hey everyone- we have a shelter rescue Pit - I call her a pit mix mainly because she was dumped at a pound has no papers. However, I can't see anything other than APBT or possibly AST in her. I'd appreciate the other members' input, though, because many of you have a significant amount of experience with the breed. Does this dog seem to conform to how an APBT should appear? I'm just as happy calling her a mutt, by the way, but curious as to what everyone thinks - I'm not breeding her (spayed already) or showing or anything like that.
Just for info sake, she's just a year old and 56 pounds, which is prob as large as she will get. Thanks! |

She is adorable and looks APBT to me. She looks like my dog Rivers sister. There were 4 black males in her litter and they were found in a barn in Piscataway, NJ. River will be 2 this August. Here is one of the little black pups in the back, not to clear but you can see the ears are like your baby. I understand what you mean about just wanting to know I often wonder if my dog is mixed with anything.
