Thank you, husky. And I agree.
I would wholeheartedly support a program that went into rescues and tried to put "pit bulls" into various areas of public service work. I will NOT support someone's own personal ego trip and the breeding and culling of personal dogs all so one single person can try to claim an additional 15 minutes of fame. Hell, I remember hearing how there were no good dogs in the shelters and none with enough drive yet I knew of 2 absolutely stunning and very high drive APBTs that were PTS'd down here in southeastern Louisiana because they were too drivey for the average owner and no one was willing to give them a chance. But I guess for some it's just easier to look the other way and pretend they don't exist. |

I didnt know all that, but I liked lawdogs because they gave a positive outlook on the breed. No matter where they came from. I agree it would be better to see shelter dogs become law dogs, however the APBT in general, working as law dogs, is such a positive thing.
Again, didnt know all that, but anything that puts our breed in the light is a good thing-somewhat! |

What are we gonna do now>? Lawdogs was such a positive thing for our breed. And now she cannot go on due to funding, or lack of and personal illness issues with her family.
This totally sucks! http://www.lawdogsusa.org/home.html |
