Nice photos CN.....
I once had cusp tell me that we have more evidence for DM then we do for BH's. Although I must add that at that time, his research was with regards to DM, so he may have had a slight agenda. Probably equally I would suggest, but I'm open for correction. Another forum brain a few days ago made a remark that we should remember that we have as yet, never seen gravitatiional radiation. We have also never seen DM and BH's, but evidence suggests that all three exist. |

In the centre of our galaxy several stars orbit a massive unseen object. The only thing we know it could be is a super massive black hole. So the evidence for their existence is very strong. It's the whole galaxy that orbits the MW's SMBH which we call Sagittarius A*. We now are sure most, if not all galaxies [not just spirals] have SMBH's at their core. |
