Default what is up with my Cpu
i dont know what to think about this. talking about the ram in the other thread i decided to check somethings out on my laptop and it says i have 1Gb of ram. according to the specifications on the M-6320 i should have 2Gb.

this is total BS.

it's possible that the motherboard is only designed to handle RAM on one side of the chip (the black things on both side of the chip) mine has 2x 2gb chips (4gb) but my computer only shows 2gb.

....also could be the one slot is not registering the ram...faulty MB...either way if its new call on your warranty for it.

That's weird .. usually laptops don't just come with 1 card of memory.. they usually split it between 2. Maybe someone just forgot to install it before it got shipped out .. I' d just call them about it.

wow this is embarrassing but some how a stick of my ram fell out of the slot and i found it in the case.

so now im back to 2 Gigs

Especially in VistAIDs, I've had a few people with 1gb machines and Vista and they all told me they ran like shit.

you shouldnt run 1Gig and Vista. i know first hand. with all the memory things take your cpu will run like shit. with all the things i run some times im over 1 gig of memory.
