Default Hecklers removed from Speech
Oh my .. looks like some students that heckled former President Clinton were questioned by Secret Service agents and were asked to leave the speech he was giving. If I listened to some of the people here, you'd think this type of activity started under George W.

2 Students Heckle Clinton at University

Two Pace University students were questioned by Secret Service officers after they heckled former President Clinton during a speech at the school, a university spokesman said.

The hecklers shouted "war criminal" when Clinton answered a law student's question about the value of working for peace, Pace spokesman Christopher T. Cory said.

The outburst came at the end of a speech Sunday in which the former president was applauded by the crowd of about 1,800, Cory said.

The two students were asked to leave by local police, then were questioned by the Secret Service and released, Cory said. Their identities were not released.

I do not consider asking questions as an unbearable tactic. Did they harm the two students in any form?

Read it again - someone asked a question, and the two students who were ejected started yelling and disrupting the session.

It was not the asking questions, but shouting "war criminal!" that got them booted.

Rightfully so, IMHO.

Take that Dems!

No, in all seriousness, I think they should have been removed for their rude behavior. Although to the kids' credit, they did wait until the end of the speech.

I think the irony here is that if this had been George Bush's speech, and the students removed from the speech, the media would be all over it - and people on this forum would be screaming about how Bush supresses free speech.

No, you misunderstood me. I was aware of the fact that they did not "behave properly". I wondered what happened to the students. So they were asked some questions. Is this so unbearable?

Good riddance. The rest of the crowd went to hear Clinton speak, not protesters.

Its weird but the Clinton's seem to get a lot of that, Hillary has been known to be heckled by those who accuse her of supporting illegal wars and her being a war monger, how ridiculous!

Dude, we got rid of the "jüdisch-bolschewistische Weltverschwörung" long ago. Ask your Gauleiter, he will explain it to you.

I have to wonder if they knew who they were calling a war criminal, or if, perhaps they were confused. Even some of us decreaps do that at times

Although 19yr students maybe someone's child, to refer to them as just "kids"
implies that they are just harmless little rugrats who can't really be held responsible for their actions.

And my experiences on campuses and awareness of political activism on campus says that EVERYTHING is always planned. You can be sure that the two students who were 'evicted' planned it as their goal to be evicted. Nothing 'political' is ever spontaneous on a university campus. Nothing.

Bushie doesn't speak in public to non-partisan-picked crowds.

Neither do the Clintons...just the extreme left doesn't like Hillary as she tries to pretend to be a moderate and they hate her for being ashamed she's a liberal where as the right don't feel the same about Bush as he's proud to be a conservative, thus he doesn't get heckled by his own side.

Bullcrap. The Clintons (both Bill and Hillary) have a long history of addressing open public crowds. Indeed, I've had the pleasure of attending a speech by Bill (post-Presidential).

As for labels, methinks one has to be a freakin' socialist to earn the label of "liberal" from the far left fanatics of the Democratic party.

As far as I'm concerned, Hillary has solid 'centerist/liberal' credentials much like Bill Clinton did. If this makes her the enemy of the Democratic party, then methinks the Democratic party's problems are much, much worse than previously considered.

The Clinton's speak to Partisan crowds most of the time, they are friendly audiences and these days with Bill its mostly outside of the U.S. as well, half the time with unfriendly nations. That's where the dems and GOP differ...we don't go abroad and bash our nation.

However Hillary is not a centrist, she tries to be one and her far left base goes nuts and starts going after her which is fine with me, i hate the woman.

It does make her the enemy of the liberal base of her party, and yes the dems are in real trouble at the national level.
