Interesting! It's clear to see this farce we call the "War on Drugs" is not working for us!

This is really (Or should be) a tenth amendment issue.. But, I have to question the wisdom of legalization coupled with a welfare state.

It seems to me that you can pick one or the other.. But not both.

I would do away with the welfare state before I did away with Pot.

Yeah.. I don't do illegal drugs myself. In fact I hate them.. Especially pot.

However, the Federal WOD is unconstitutional. It is justified by the "Interstate commerce clause" for the "purpose of regulation"

Basically, they just jumped in with both feet and regulated inter-state, intra-state and even completely non-commercial activity because.. Well, because nobody stopped them.

It's complete bullshit. Totally unjustifiable from a Constitutional standpoint.

So, as much as I hate drugs and think they're a terrible idea, I hate shitting on the Constitution even more.

Occasionally I use the legal K2, but now it is only on rare occasions as I am not planning on buying any more, I don't hate it, it just gets old when you get older. I think if we tell young adults that they can't do it, they will never learn why they shouldn't do it. Simply because it is a waste of time.

We-live-in-a-pseudo-authoritarian/totalitarian-wasteland. What a bleak yet realistic portrayal of our society.

Yeah.. and it's irritating to see people dismiss the Constitution when times are good.

You know, during the boom (Especially the Clinton years) you said things like this and everyone just ignored it. They went back to stroking themselves over their 401K or (Lately) the appreciation in their housing prices.

Then the crash happened and now, EVERYONE is paying attention to issues we all knew about over a decade ago and recognized as a coming threat.

Wankers. Those people DESERVE to be in the mess we're in.

It's sad that we have to share in the loss with them.

They may deserve it, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to get out.

I have been a critic since long before Clinton, Carter!
