Will he have the common sense to avoid mentioning that as a Mormon he considers himself to be Jewish too?

Descended from Abraham through Jacob, but not necessarily through Judah. I don't think Judah is one of the tribes used in patriarchal blessings, but could be wrong about that. Ephraim is usually the one.
