Now I have to think about not doubling the speed of things going in opposite directions :/
But I like this..

Hi RosieB.....This line of thinking may help....All of space/time that exists now in our observable Universe was all compressed within the volume of an atomic nucleus. Therefor the BB must have happened everywhere at once.
