I believe that the author who assembled the list found both comedy and seriuousness in it. It was an attempt to collect all of the reasons that they had seen people use. I would not ever have thought that there could be so many. (although I think they were really stretching when some of the items were included as "reasons" though.)

It is, and has always been, acceptable here for Atheists and Agnostics to speak their mind about their beliefs. (within Board rules of course! LOL) ULC ordains both, but that's not necessarily the reason. Nonbelief and disbelief are all a part of religion and spirituality too, sort of the flipside to the coin. As was mentioned in the opening topic here, we'd had an Atheist/Agnostic forum before (I was the Mod.) but it was seldom used. We thought we'd give it a try again.
