good and evil are concepts derived by man.

if mankind dies, there'll be no one left to remember mankind in terms of good/evil

But there are probably sentient beings out there, possibly with the same kind of logic and morality of us.

If they knew of us, and we died somehow, they would probably call us evil, if they were copies of us.

However, in the same way, if we knew their history and they died somehow, we would think the same of them.

It's pretty simple to call anyone and everyone evil; countless religions and philosophies have said this and have yet to be proven wrong :P

I was just want somebody to say "This is madness!" so I can say in return, "This....is... PHILOSOPHY!!!!!!!!!!!"

No..."This...is...SPARTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Philosophy has existed for over 9000 years

€-C, Philosophy has existed far more longer than that. It's existed since the most simple sentient being made the first thought ever. Humanity has existed far longer than 9000 years.

Oh, and I'd think that all kinds of questions should be able to exist here. I mean, all questions with answers are related to human thought in some way, right?
Therefore,
The Philosophy Thread now accepts sociology, science, and all sorts of questions, even the ones made as jokes and may or may not answer them.
How does that sound.
