This post is very insightful, and it should be required reading for someone who wants to know how things feel like.

Thank you for this specific quote, I'll probably quote you in the future:
I work in audio and the snap sounded exactly like what happens when audio snaps... the difference between the frequency curve when it's interrupted mid-waveform and a "zero degree" frequency causes an audible "snap" like the snap that you hear when you turn a set of speakers on.
Gosh, I miss vibrations so much!
