As I've said, it's all about money. Here, the local university (Wake Forest) has been getting great press for making a bowl game with a 6-6 record.

Long story short? You have the alumni following that spends money and at 6-6 you get to go to a bowl game? BFD!

My alma mater has been on the short end of stick more than a couple of times when it comes to a "national championship", so it comes as no surprise that someone else it getting ****** yet again to play for the number 1 spot.
