Hmm not sure what's going on, or your original reasons for wanting an APBT. What happened?

I don't really get breed preferences. I like dogs based on individual dogs' personalities. I know I like big dogs, but that's about it. All I wanted when I adopted a dog was a medium-to-big dog who was active but not crazily so, was very smart, and had a lot of personality. That's what I got.
