I wouldn't blame fluoride toothpaste for someone getting ill. It could be your whole range of cosmetic and toiletry products. Many of them have chemicals that aren't known whether they are safe or not, and aren't controlled by any means. Could be a whole mix of things I reckon. I believe this to be true. All you have to do is with-hold from skin products and watch your skin glow after a couple of weeks. I think JanieDough posted a link about a woman who did this a while ago.
