Hey Yodi, I listen to drivel, too. And I quite like it in certain circumstances. The point is we can get that "drivel" elsewhere. And everywhere. This isn't just about jazz and classical versus pop. Frankly, I don't listen to CBC 1 for the music. It's AM radio, for God's sake. I listen to it for the intelligent talk and varied programming. Or used to, anyway. Not anymore. And my car doesn't get satellite radio.
