What's wrong with being elitist. Does everyone have to be a fucking moron? I love sports radio, but I also love the CBC. I get pissed off when Dave Pratt talks about politics just like I'd get pissed off hearing Madona on the CBC. Has anyone heard the state of American public Radio? Last time I checked it choked on balls!

The CBC is a great Canadian institution, one of the finest in the world. When I think of my identity as a Canuck it's one of the first things that comes to mind. I gained my first exposure to jazz, like Brian said, listening to the CBC. And (no offence Brian) I'm a few years younger, that's a few generations of jazz fans from the same public radio station! When I was a kid, one of my dreams was to play on the CBC! When I did my first Jazz Beat show a few years ago I was beside myself. But fuck it. Bring on the JAMFs. Can we get some Toby Keith? I love that shit.
