Our first dog, Molli (border collie/GSP) was a Craigslist dog. She was the first dog for my husband and me - we picked her up and then left on our honeymoon to the beach with her.

Jet, our SBT mix, was a foster dog that we adopted through Seattle Humane Society.

Boxie, our Great Dane, was a gift from friends (though we did talk about it first - always good with any animal gift, even more so with a giant dog!)

When it comes time for another dog, I'll be looking for a breeder that has working SBT. The same goes for our next dane, I'll be looking to a breeder with quality dogs.
