Thank you! We've been Cattle Dog free for 5 years, but we are suckers for punishment, and so the search began!

You must be a real masochist! I'm pretty sure a Cattle Dog would make me batty. But I do admire the intelligence and energy so long as it isn't directed toward destroying my house. After all, I have precious few decent things left after raising 3 puppies over 3 years and I treasure them,lol.

Never looked into the Entlebucher. Seems like a smaller version of the BMD. Which was a breed we were interested in before we became bully addicts and got Ike and then the rest of the dogs. I even tried to adopt a Bernese mix from a rescue, but he was a man biter and yeah, no thanks. Now I'm glad I didn't find a stable one because I think I wouldn't do so well with the grooming needs. The ones I have seen are a bit shaggy and seem to like rolling in the mud a lot.
