omg i haven't thought of it that way. i think i just need to focus on the positive for Peanut. it really isn't the end of the world and i do have it better then some military wives but its just the time factor that has me down. i need to be positive for Peanut he is proabably really sad seeing me sad and he doesn't know why i am sad and why he hasn't been able to cheer me up.

I know it is hard and I wish there was something I could say to make it better. Predeployment is ALWAYS a bitch. Peanut understands when you are not you, and he empathizes. But its just because he loves you

Nope. It's just us anthropormophizing our pets. We see what we wanna see. My dog is like JoeBingo's dog also when it comes to his moods.

I respectfully say bull shit hahaha
My dogs have always been more tender and cuddly when I need it. I think some people, men in particular, do not see emotions in animals for the same reason they cant figure out what they said 5 minutes ago to piss their wife off, they arent paying attention.
