This is April, Tyson's mom, I had inquired about a username change but I think Vicki accidentally deleted my account :P

Anyways, a close friend of mine has a 6 month old GSD, I know there are some GSD owners/breeders on here, and although Parvo is common, someone still may be able to help me.

The dog was completely fine until 4 days ago, he stopped wanting to play, he stopped eating, looked depress, and started vomiting up stomach acid. Two days later they took him to the vet, they did a parvo test and it came up positive.

That day, they gave him a shot which was 2 weeks of antibiotics and they gave him a nausea shot and an iv, and yesterday they gave him another iv and a nausea shot, today he goes back for the same thing.

He is still not eating, but he is now drinking water. I know alot of people on the forums have had pups with parvo and the outcome was not very good, but how likely is it that he will pull through being 6 months old? His dog is his baby and I feel really bad for him and hope he gets better soon.

Can anyone offer any advice?
