I've only had a couple people be literally afraid to the point where they walked away swiftly. A few people were wary, but for the most part, everyone loves Lily, and likes to learn when I start telling them facts about the breed.
But I'll admit, Lily is not what people think of when they think 'pit bull', so maybe a lot of people just think she's a dalmatian/whippet mix.

I get the same with Mater. They always ask if he is a Dalmatian mix. We live in a rural area so there aren't many people around and when we do take him out to big crowds people seem to love him.
