Never underestimate the stupidity of some people.

Although we had trust in Trudi's good nature, we never allowed any stranger to put their hands on her in public. You just never know how or where they might grab the dog and if that dog bites, guess who is at fault.

In my opinion, not worth the risk.
You're absolutely right. I don't let anyone touch him anymore. People look at me like I'm a jerk, especially the kids when I say "no I'd rather you didn't." or they get scared because they think it's cause he's vicious. I don't explain it to them anymore, it's too tiring.

The other day I had a kid come up and go "Is that a red nose?" and I say "Well, he has a red nose, but he's a Amstaff mutt." and the kid goes "So he's red nose and Amstaff? You wanna breed it with my dog, she's a red nose too?" I just said no thank you and walked on.

Pure bred Red Nose LOL
