And this is my eternal debate. Ike and Rita both really, really like people and I want to keep it that way. I also like getting out there in the world and maybe changing a mind or two. I don't want to say "Don't pet my dogs." because that can easily leave the wrong impression and people are often too stupid to see how I could be protecting my dog from them. I also don't ever want to be resposible for an incident.

What I have been doing is letting people who ask pet them and just closely watching both the dogs reactions and the human actions. Anyone I don't like the look or vibe of i just keep going with an excuse like "Sorry, no time today!"
