I agree with the "treat the dog like it's a dog" thing. I have a schnauzer/poodle mix and he is like a glorified cat. Not because I have treated him that way but he just isn't a "real dog" lol hence the reason for me wanting another dog in the house. I wanted a dog that acts like a dog and not a cat but I love my Scruffy boy. He is always on a leash when we are in public and if he tried to attack another dog like that I would be horrified! he is grumpy with trina sometimes but only when provolked and he's defending himself.

I would not allow him to attack another dog like that and he would be on a leash at the vet. I can't believe that guy did that! The vet should have said something.
