My father is one of those people who believe 'no one should own a pit bull because their all monsters'. His belief is due to two things, the media and in that my aunt (his sister) had a staffie mix (not even a true APBT) whose failing eyesight made her dog aggressive. Having my dog in the house has created tension to say the least.

One of the biggest problems for him is that my dog is young (6 and a half months) and so she just constantly wants to play with my moms dogs but to him, Loki is not playing, she is 'trying to kill them'. My dog has not once shown any signs of dog aggression and while I try to explain to my dad how I know that it is in fact play, he refuses to believe me. He gives me the same speech that pretty much goes as follows. "She's biting them, she's chasing them, she's grabbing their throats to kill them, she's barking" yada yada yada, This man has no clue how dogs play. She has never once hurt them or 'bitten', it's full on play bowing fun. To give you an idea of how careful she is with other dogs, she's 40-50lbs now and her favorite playmate is a tiny Yorkie that's smaller then her head and not once has she harmed this tiny little dog.

I've tried to get him to come out to my friends places who have large dogs so that he can see how they play but he refuses to even consider it. This is where I need some help from some fellow owners, I'm looking to find video's of pit bulls playing with whatever it is they are playing with, be it dogs, toys, whatever. If anyone can help me out by giving me some links to some video's it would help me out a lot.
