When Mollie was about a year old, my daughter had a friend that had a Yorkie, Mollie loved that pup and would play with it like crazy and never tried to hurt her. She was actually very gentle with the dog.

Best thing to do is to just bite your tongue and bear it until you can get your own place. I know it's hard, but I'd suggest keeping your dog away from them, because the first time he hears a yelp from his dogs, he's gonna freak out and could make you get rid of your pup. Just crate your pup when you can't supervise, and don't let his dogs play with your pup. It's a crappy thing to have to do, but you have to do what you have to do, until you can get back out on your own.
