Yeah I had a moment of panic and considered barricading the door lol. I think the neighbor just left his door wide open as he was moving something upstairs. I guess I have to be everyone's mommy.

This dog is so wide you could have a picnic on his back but he's otherwise healthy and old (almost 9) so his owner is kind of like well I will let him eat as much as he wants and enjoy the last few years of his life.

That's scary... Just because he's old doesn't mean much. My 14yo shepherd put up a very good fight with a 2 year old bulldog... Lucky you two got in quick!

Oh I would be a lot more worried if he was coming at me over flat ground but the stairs are really hard on him. Poor guy.
