Even tho it happenned in your brother's "yard"...it seems like none of the dogs (all 4) in question were secure or properly supervised. Might be time to re-evaluate ya'lls supervision and protection methods with your brothers' dogs.

Next time mr.p might get a better hold of one of them and they may not make it back

Honestly, there should not be a next time
