With crop ears, it all depends on the vet. Sometimes you end up with a bad crop job and sometimes it will be a good crop jobs. I have seen many beautiful does with really bad crop jobs. A person needs to ask the vet for references and pictures before they decide at the vet.

I am not for or against cropping a dogs ears. I have one dog that has cropped ears and my other three do not have cropped ears. If I had the money at the time, I would have had my youngest two ears cropped.
