I can't imagine many situations that a private course isn't going to be faster, unless there's so many members the parking lot looks like a public course.

Have had that happen. People parking down the lane of the driveway, tee times booked from 7:00am-4:30pm. Still only fell 20 min. behind pace of play that day.
