When you go to buy the Nexus One, you will find you have a choice between the AT&T one or the T-Mobile one.

Being in Canada, I hope to get an AT&T version soon. My Magic is excellent, but I'm itching for more power.
Sure enough, I see that now on their site.

So when you get an iphone 4 you sign a new contract, then sell the iphone? Don't they open it and activate and all that?

I might go a different route...I just found the ATT Captivate, avail this week. While it sucks because ATT locks it down, I found a website that shows how it can be easily rooted to the stock Samsung S firmware, which eliminated all the ATT stuff, and adds in features. Also should mean earlier 2.2 update.

Hmmm. Nexus one will always be first...but it is a little spendy, and the hardware isn't quite as good as the samsung s phones IMO.
