As has been said, if it happened once, it could have happened many times* and she's only fessing up because she is, or thinks she is, pregnant.
First things first, tell her that you're very disappointed and you're going to have to take time out to think about it - gives you both time to consider your options, although I would definitely have to consider her a former girlfriend, as I don't believe she'd never been trashed before and didn't know what could happen, even if I stayed on friendly-ish terms.
Secondly, you DEFINITELY have to get a full STD check and so does she - regardless of what you may think of her, she also has to take care of anything she'd caught - hopefully it's nothing permanent or serious!

It's a hellish situation, but you could have been looking after and paying for someone else's kid for 18 years...

*Credit where credit's due, though, there are a lot of scum out there who will get a girl drunk and take advantage of her, whilst she's barely aeare of what's happening - this could be an example of it so, as I said, tell her you're going to have to think on it, and she may be a reasonably innocent party which you should also consider, if you really think she's worth holding onto.
