Went shooting again today, this time took my mom. We put 150 rounds of .38 special into it, and I have her fired up to get her old .222 rifle.

The rifle was built by my great grandfather, who was a gunsmith, and given to my mom for her birthday when she was 10 years old back in the 60's. We found an ammo box in her garage with the bolt from the gun and a note from my great grandfather wishing her a happy birthday. We believe that the rest of the gun is at my grandmothers house. We are going to get it and take it to a gunsmith to look over and do maintenance on it, as it has been sitting around for over 20 years. Too bad the .222 remington rounds seem to be hard to come by these days.
