Sorry to hear this, the email was sent in accordance to your profile request.

The notification was sent with the exception of people who selected to not receive notifications via Email; hence why some did not receive it.

I updated your profile for you. Any and all persons who do not wish to receive notification emails, please login to your account and un-check 'Receive forum announcements and important notifications by email.' in your user profile.

I didn't sign up at any SYB after the takeover and I deleted my account on the old SYB before anything was handed over, yet I still got one too.

It's no big deal, but it shouldn't be made out that this was something that anyone requested via a profile or otherwise, it was done with the old, stolen DB.
