You guys hailing The Dark Knight as best movie ever... heh... I watched The Matrix again the other day.

Boy how awesome that movie was, especially considering it was the movie that initiated the slow-mo & flying around effects... I would say if there's a movie that revolitionized the whole sci-fi / sfx concept, The Matrix definitely did.

The sequels were for freaks.
I'm a sci-fi freak, I liked them. But I can understand the ones who didn't. After all, the plot wants to be deeper than it really is.

I wouldnt say the Matrix revolutionised any kind of genre nevermind sci fi..for that, dont you have to look further back to Terminator and even before that?

I'd say it had groundbreaking camera effects but no more than that.
