You tell that customer "Have a nice day, thankyou for your purchase!" when you really want to tell them to bugger off and never come back.
Well ain't that the truth. I kinda miss customer service though. When people got rude I infuriate them even more by being overly polite. Nothing seems to piss off an enraged customer more than not losing your cool. A well placed "I'm sorry you feel that way sir. What can we do the resolve your problem?" can make the call oh so much better. If you decline the cell phone insurance we're not going to replace it for you in store. Some people amaze me. In my current job I deal with other businesses, and some of them have some pretty rude people working there. We've got one guy who talks like a sailor and everything he says is a demand. He gets so pissed if you keep your cool and are always polite. Its hilarious.
