I have to disagree with you, my dear respected brother.
It is my concern that An Nahda lacks the ideological guidance needed to guide Tunisia and the surrounding Maghreb.
What would the Prophet (saaw) do? How did an Anbiya (as) deal with such situations?

Should the leading Islamic party refrain from calling for Shariah and an Islamic state just so they can gain power?
We want shari'ah, but not just for a few days. We don't want to take 2 steps forward, then 100 steps backwards. Look what happened in Algeria in the 90's and in Turkey to a lesser extent (Erbakan being forced to step down).
