brother actually I think he was a bit insane. The problem was not the economy. The problem was.....where shall i start. Going to fajr salah regularly, growing a beard, any sort of outword religiousness, his clear cut kufr in his green book, his constant mockery of the sunnah and shariah even in his final days. Calling the rebels gressy rats with beards and turbuns. His speech was clearly mocking the beard and turbun. These were the major problems. His oppression and mismanagement of the economy is another issue. He was a man in bed with the kuffar and was their man. I can't think of any favourable islamic policies he implemented. The situation in Libya is optimistic. There is a strong chance of some sort of islamists getting some power and definitely there will be more religious freedom. Mashallah the number of beards has already dramatically risen. I know Libya well as I have friends from there who told me clearly that a bearded person would be told to shave his beard.
