Assalamu Alaikum,

Ideally, there should be tarbiyat courses where one can be taught proper parenting, but little tips are also good.

So, what was it in your parent's/guardian's parenting that shaped you the way you are now. If not parenting, then what led you to be the way you are now, your teachers?

Was it strictness, or softness that were best? Or was it loose parenting, allowing you to do anything you want, and just giving advice here and there?

And what were some things that you did not like at all as you were growing up, and suggest parents to avoid completely?
