I didn't get a chance to check out the translation line by line. I only checked that part where you said you weren't sure about: "confess with those who were from me".

Fa Innee Muqirrun billathee Qad Kana Minnee literally means: Indeed, I confess to that which has surely happened from me....i.e. sins.

In other words, he is confessing his sins to Allah. There's something similar in that line where you translated it as 'misdeeds'. He is talking about his sins and not about any human being or living thing.

Those words are really powerful and they sound waaaay better in Arabic. : )

So the "alladhee" is referring to his sins and not to people. I will edit my first post accordingly.
