SubhanAllah tough choice!
If done for the pleasure of Allah, both are very Noble professions...so it is a hard choice. Just make sure inshallah ur parents' orders/wishes are not ignored. Whatever u choose in the end, make sure they r pleased with u inshallah.

When deciding a matter, we need to make istikhara (to seek Allah's guidance for our decision) and Mashwara (consulting with others).

One who seeks guidance from his Creator and consults his fellow believers and then remains firm in his resolve does not regret for Allah has said:

‘…and consult them in the affair. Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allaah…”
you should also () make a list of pros (i dont think there r any cons for any of the choices) and compare...and see which one is heavier in benefit for u and ur family in dunya and akhirah.

In my opinion, I would suggest u think about how u see urself in the future...inshallah. Do u see urself as a doctor working to cure people everyday and saving them from physical ills. OR do u see urself as an alim, striving to spread the message of islam and teaching others, and saving them from spiritual ills.
just something to think about inshallah! Both are encouraged by Islam.
