for the carpet article. I thought it was just me. When i was growing up i used see faces in some lantern-shape on the carpet.
Evidently something needs to be done. it is very difficult however not to create un-intentional images when trying to design a beautiful carpet.. maybe the solution really is just a simple nice carpet with straight lines for prayer (that is done at Aberdeen masjid) for example.
Historically what have the prayer surfaces of Masajid been? Anyone know?
