Why Canon?

Sony has amazing video capabilities. Nikon has great sensor and accessories are pretty well priced.

IMHO Canon in entry-level is overpriced turd.

8 gb card will do fine. I've had hard time filling up mine even though this nx200 has 20mp sensor.
