Gas Perth only play Peel twice next year and TBH i am relieved. Every year Perth seems to be pencilled in for 3 games against Peel, not sure if the WAFC are trying to help Perth or Peel but I am relieved we aren't playing our 1st or second game down there.

Claremont may not be as strong as they have been the last couple of seasons. It will take them time to adjust to a new coach who is very much a rookie. Mark Webb only retired the year before last and has served just one year as an assistant at his own club. Not a great apprenticeship but they obviously rate him highly. Claremont have also lost Beau Wilkes, a big loss and I think Brabazon is going to Canberra. We also play Claremont 3 times but i welcome that also. We need to measure ourselves against the best opposition. There are a lot of unknowns going into next year so we can't read too much into who we play i don't think.

Yes i would hate to be in EF's shoes. Perth have had starts like that in the past where we have had something like a bye in the first round then Peel (away). It's like having 2 byes to start the season.
