i think its asking a bit too much for a government to look at the next 100 years... that would be doing the smart thing. How much of a stuff up band aid effort was the last re development of subi... lessen the capacity from 50 thou to 45 thou.. well done, brilliant stuff fellas. May as well have poured all that dough down the drain. Look at the other states, all have extremely good footy set ups. But not us, no. Bloody hopeless.
Designing a new stadium should be pretty basic stuff really. Don't worry about winning bloody architecture awards, just have a two tier stand going around an oval, good seating, as much undercover as possible, build it strong, 70 to 80 thousand capacity.. and some standing room, but i know i'm dreamin there.
