IIRC I predicted this year a couple years back for Chicago to win the cup on this forum, when -Jrabbit asked at one point.

I can confirm that.

I believe the context was the need for playoff experience with the young hotshots etc. IIRC it was more "2 yrs is the soonest it could happen" as opposed to an actual prediction the Hawks would win this year specifically.

Which is good, since the Hawks have Hossa now, which seemingly dooms them to losing in the Finals.
