Not about skin colour or where they could pass in the street, in Russia they are known as 'Blacks' or Chonayie/Чернажопые/Chernazhopye because they have (relatively) dark skin.

genetically they have more in common with Eastern Turkey/ North Western Iran, even northern Syria/Iraqi Kurdistan than eastern Europe.

A Georgian has more in common ( historically )with someone from Trebzon,Turkey than with someone from Paris

An Armenian is more in common with Christian Assyrians/Kurds/ Christian Lebanese and Iranians than he does with Austrians.

please don't bombard this thread with pics of de-pigmented Caucasians, this is not who is white or who isn't. Is Assad a European? I'm sure he could pass as greek.

This about why they pretend to be something they're not and prentend as if they have nothing in common with their neighbours ( i.e Georgia having nothing to due with Turkey) they musically, culturally, genetically and geographically have had more in common with historically.
