As-Salāmu `Alaykum (السلام عليكم):

This is a very interesting topic. It appears that the emotions
have clouded the issues with the ethnic, cultural
and tribal biases. The problems are well cited. What
are some practical solutions. There are those among us
who only increase the divide and cite the problems to
keep us divided. What are the solutions?

Al-Imran (The Family of Imran)

وَاعْتَصِمُواْ بِحَبْلِ اللّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلاَ تَفَرَّقُواْ وَاذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَةَ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَاء فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَىَ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ النَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ (3:103)

WaiAAtasimoo bihabli Allahi jameeAAan wala tafarraqoo waothkuroo niAAmata Allahi
AAalaykum ith kuntum aAAdaan faallafa bayna quloobikum faasbahtum biniAAmatihi ikhwanan
wakuntum AAala shafa hufratin mina alnnari faanqathakum minha kathalika yubayyinu
Allahu lakum ayatihi laAAallakum tahtadoona

3:103 (Y. Ali) And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you),
and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah's favour on you;
for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren;
