Some background on this "clinic".
- started early last year (although there are some brothers who have provide the service for several years, even ~ 10 years, treating people & places). The hall of a musalla was used initially. After several months treating people in the musalla, an islamic primary school gave permission for one of their classroom to be used as a treatment place, as the school only use the class during the day. Hence once a week after isya prayer, the classroom was "converted" into a treatment place.

As more people started to come seeking treatment (muslims and non muslims), it was decided to open the classroom for 2 nights per week. However, as the islamic primary school is also increasing her student intake and will be using the classroom, the brothers/sisters decided that there's a need to find their own place rather than just use others properties. Thus the start of construction/renovation of the treatment centre.

The money for the building comes from donations and sponsorship. Alhamdulillah the renovation is moving along and hopefully insya ALLAH by this May 2012, the "clinic" will be opened.

At the moment, 2 nights per week are set for treating patients. Although there is a need to provide treatment at other times and days, the brothers/sisters who are helping at the "clinic" are only prepared that much time to give. Other times they use for their families and other purposes. These brothers/sisters are not paid for their service. They are doing it for free/voluntary. May ALLAH swt have mercy on them. But when the new place is opened, insya ALLAH more time will be opened to provide service to the public.
