Default Diversity and immigrants in Turkey
Particularly a question for the Turkish posters, How is the diversity in Turkey? Also how accepted are immigrants, particularly African immigrants, into the Turkish society?

^ Sorry I have got no clue about the African immigrants in Turkey since I don't live in Turkey. My mom had been to Turkey last summer (Istanbul) and she told me we got a lot of Chinese and African immigrants in Turkey now, at least in Istanbul but apart from that I have heard nothing.

Yes. There are more alien-raced immigrants coming to Anatolia and especially Istanbul, as you mentioned. Sadly...

*Correction
Istanbul is NOT the capital city of Turkey.
The capital is Ankara. Istanbul is Turkey's largest metropol, though.

Yeah his name is Mehmet (now) he is also converted into Islam. We all love him, at least every Turk I know as he is improving his Turkish, he even CAN sing the Turkish national anthem. To me he is a Turk, I don't count him as a foreigner. He is a dark Turk

A picture of him:

Another dark Turk:

Her name is Tugce, she was adopted by a Turkish couple and she grew up in Turkey, she speaks PERFECT Turkish and she is also a Muslim as far as I know, so to me she is also a Turk. She is also married to a Turkish guy.

I think she is stunningly beautiful.

Don't forgot your own Mongoloid admixture in your DNA before you start calling others as alien-raced immigrants. For example I am living in UK and in compare to Nordids like this guy I am also an alien-raced immigrant:

But who cares

Ahh that's right.

So I guess it would be the most diverse?

I have a better one that that. I have a mid 1800's ancestor who's name was Alabama. Even better, in one census record it was literally spelled "Alabammie" as I'm sure it was pronounced.

Ironically, she was from Kentucky.

On Turkey, I would highly recommend a visit to Istanbul, especially if you're Muslim, because there's a lot of cool historical stuff to see there. At the Topkapi Palace museum they have relics on display identified as the staff of Moses, the sword of King David, and the bow of Prophet Mohammed, if I remember correctly. I can't speak to their authenticity but it's a cool place regardless. They also had traveling exhibits from Japan and Russia while I was there.

I didn't see too many African looking people, maybe one or two. I did see a lot of East Asian tourists. Looked like San Francisco in that regard.

Nice! I would love to go since the History is still live and well there. I guess I'd be from amongst the first Aframs there.

No, it's not exactly like that. Istanbul is a huge metropolitan city with a big tourism industry. Many people vacation there (or fly there on their way to coastal resorts) from Europe and Australia. I saw some other Americans there also... I could spot them by their clothing. Also it's a NATO country, so you can bet there have been many US military Aframs there for training exercises or other purposes.
